The session will have to be completed by August 15, 2011. This also applies to entries that are from out of town. The second place winner will receive a $200 gift certificate and the third place a $100 gift certificate.

Happy New Year folks! Can you believe another year has gone by?

It’s good to be back after a lovely holiday in India. A wonderful trip filled with meeting family, friends, shopping and a teeny bit of travel. I hope to post some photos from my travels over the coming weeks now that my mac is back from the medics. Whew! I was going through some serious withdrawal not being able to download the trip photos on my return or access email in a proper fashion. My apologies for those that are waiting to hear back. Have a wonderful New Year…

ps. mosquitoes seemed rather fond of my boy or his sweet blood as they say in India. In these photos, he had nine bites on his face most of which had been acquired in the course of a day.

New York Short Stories

A few from way back in October from my New York Short Story sessions that I haven’t had a chance to share on the blog. Most of these little people were from 1.5 to 3 years old which is a super active age and am pretty happy to have gotten some decent pictures! Most of the short story sessions are 20-30 minutes and intended to capture a milestone. They are only offered on a limited basis around the holidays or summer time. If you are interested in a Short Story session please email me to get on our newsletter list for the offerings.

Hello readers! I am off to India for a few weeks… woohoo! I will be resuming work in the New Year! I wanted to wish you a very happy holiday season with your loved ones. A big thank you to wonderful clients that have let me into your lives this year to capture your family and kids. I have loved working with you! I know some of you are awaiting your deliverables and they will be arriving in the coming weeks as promised. For others, thanks for your patience and waiting for them until my return. Please keep in mind that I will have limited internet access so you may not hear from me right away.

On the subject of India, thought I would share this video of Conan filmed for Am Ex in Jaipur. Check it out… it is so very funny!

twenty-five reasons…

…and more to preserve the fleeting moments of those wonder years. You might recognize this little guy from here. Each time I see him, he has grown a bit more. And I love that I get to see the adorable little guy and document these milestones.

I have been asked what a typical session looks like. Well, there is really no such thing as a typical session since session is unique:-) Every story-telling session is session is customized for clients to make it that much more special. With input and help from them of course! And after a custom session, a gallery of twenty-five images is presented in a private gallery. Usually more. I thought I would share what this session looked like. If you are looking for twenty-five reasons to book a custom session with Storybox Art here they are…

P.S. Am booked through the end of 2010. Please inquire for 2011
