Ms. Aras-King is a San Francisco-based photographer specializing in maternity, newborn, family and children’s photography.  She’s a natural storyteller who creates unique fine art portraits in a narrative format –  celebrating childhood and family life.

For over 15 years, Ms. Aras-King has worked as an art director and photographer for top ad agencies worldwide.  Her expertise in advertising, design and photography came together to create StoryBox Art – a collection of poignant decisive moments captured for families in a relaxed natural setting and presented in a unique storybook format.  Please feel free to browse through the galleries at www.storyboxart.com or the blog for recent work.

Alpana’s approach is casual and warm. She interacts with her clients in a comfortable environment to bring out genuine expressions that celebrate laughter, tears and everything in between. She works patiently, allowing for the stories of her clients to unfold naturally. Her storybook albums and image boxes preserve memories as vivid accounts of childhood as a tangible reminder to last through posterity. Custom photography sessions are available in-home or on location in the greater San Francicsco bay area and San Ramon, Dublin, Danville, Mountain View, Palo Alto, Mill Valley, San Rafael, San Leandro, Castro Valley, Oakland, Alameda, Walnut Creek, Marin, Silicon Valley and surrounding areas.
