Baby Warren arrived early andi got to meet him when he was two and a half weeks old for his newborn photos. Typically, I photograph newborns early however with the holidays and illness we ended up shooting these a bit later than planned. These are some images that were captured at his newborn/family photo session. As you can see big brother with his amazing smile was quite the charmer as he popped in and out of the photos. this one cracks me up…

Mysterio has been known to predict your child’s future but the sky is the limit for this sweet little newborn baby boy with the most amazing family. The above photos were taken at little Will’s newborn photo session in San Francisco. Big sister played a starring role as well and was especially helpful in trying to get the little man to smile. I so love the photo of her arms around Will cradling his face. Also, amazing to see her growing up since the last time I saw her for her eight month photos with her family. Thanks for letting me document your precious memories!

This adorable baby girl was almost two months old at the time of the photo session. You could see how much she had her dad wrapped around his finger. Such a beautiful connection with the lovely family of three.

Here I am popping out of my hibernation to share some newborn photos of this special little guy. Baby number five to an amazing mommy and the sixth child in their lovely family. I have photographed his siblings at one point or another over the years. It was such a joy to welcome baby S and document his beginning. Our shoot day turned out to be dark and rainy but little S brightened it up with his cheery disposition.

Little C came to me at seven days old with the most perfect lips and sweet little face. He went through a bit of a rough patch and had to be hospitalized for neo-natal jaundice. But the little trooper is doing much better now. Thanks so much Cleon and Gracie for making the trek out to me. Hope you like your sneak peek!

While I stay busy (or crazy) with our upcoming move I wanted to quickly post a few pictures from a recent newborn session. This sweet little girl came to me at four weeks for her newborn photos. Mom and I had talked prior to her birth but mom had an emergency C section so it took a bit longer to get together for the pictures. It was a pleasure meeting you W family and hope you enjoy your sneak peek.

…out there in Indonesia. Finally, I have a few pics for a sneak peek for your parents from your newborn baby session. A big hello to the B family in Indonesia! We did the session in San Francisco just a day before they were leaving the country for a couple month stay abroad. Hope you are staying safe and enjoying your time out there!

I love this photograph of the family with the Bay bridge in the background. The San Francisco bridges provide such a wonderful and memorable backdrop. It was such a wonderful moment when dad was holding the little guy that I had mom sneak into the photo. This photo is also a play of texture that I often do with my favorite photos.

I almost gasped seeing the net, the mobile and the white quilted bed- yes, I get excited about things that can make beautiful pictures (besides the fact that I had gorgeous subjects to work with). The family had the net for their overseas trip which was fabulous to incorporate in the pictures. I have always loved the mobiles. My son has the one called the Juggler’s Apprentice in his room that we have enjoyed for several years. Unlike regular mobiles you can keep them forever. I have been waiting to proof this baby session for the longest time. It was great fun taking pictures of this sweet and special little girl in their San Francisco home. It was love at sight looking into those big, big eyes. And it was such a pleasure of working with her amazingly smart and beautiful Oncologist mommy. Little J was adopted by mommy at birth and it is seriously a match made in heaven. One of the things little J loves is looking at herself in the mirror…and then cracking up. Mom knew how to get the best giggles from this three month old cutie. And mom’s big helper was Aunty Anka visiting all the way from the east coast. She discovered one of my favorite little Pakistani restaurant called Shalimar and I was more than happy to chat with her about the yummy food. I used to frequent it at a different location when I was a MFA student at the Academy of Art and miss being close to it now. Now on to the sneak peek that I am sure you have been waiting for…

Kiss, Kiss…yep, I wouldn’t have stopped kissing that sweet little face.
