I had a sudden bout of late inspiration. On Dec 31st as I stared at the last page of 2011 planner, I thought why not put together a weekly planner with a few of my favorite images from the year for myself? So here it is… not too snazzy but it should be functional. Although I use virtual planners off and on, I keep coming back to a physical one. I ordered an extra one thinking I would share the love from Storybox Art to one person that doesn’t mind a somewhat late weekly planner. So up for grabs, through the giveaway is a 2012 weekly planner with images from Storybox Art.

And if you are wondering why film? I have come back full circle to shooting film after a workshop last year. Back in the old days, when there was no digital I started my photography journey shooting 35 mm film at art school. Back in college, I went hiking in the Himalayas solely because of my lovely for photography and captured these with my Olympus OM1. My hope this year to shoot more film for personal work and perhaps offer a few film sessions on a discounted basis. Baby Warren arrived early andi got to meet him when he was two and a half weeks old for his newborn photos. Typically, I photograph newborns early however with the holidays and illness we ended up shooting these a bit later than planned. These are some images that were captured at his newborn/family photo session. As you can see big brother with his amazing smile was quite the charmer as he popped in and out of the photos. happy 2012! Hope you had a wonderful new year! Thought I would share a couple of these lovely keepsakes that came in before shipping them out to their respective owners.

One from my last shoot for this year. What could be a better way to end this year than document new life? This little guy was a little over two weeks old at the time of the photo and a really sweet little model. This was a family session as well and I will have more photos to share at a later date. Please keep an eye on Facebook for pictures as well.
