There were over a hundred comments on the photos and a good number were for no. 11,  Superman. I also want to thank all the other contestants as I loved each and every one of the photos. I have been a bit under the weather with a fever. It was also a bit of a crazy day as I did a bunch of photos of the kid’s at my son’s school wondering why I didn’t feel like myself. So I am going to take a couple days off and  will announce the winner of the gift card in a few days. Meanwhile, Superman’s mommy please feel free to get in touch with me about your prize.

It’s that time again. I try to do a blog contest every year with a few of my favorite photos from the year. Last year, I was out of the country so this is last year’s contest :-) I have too many favorites but I had to limit the entries to make this work.

The rules are simple!

1. In the comment section, vote for your favorite photo using the number. It might take a day or so for the comment to show up.

2. Anyone can vote- whether your photo is in the contest or not.

3. To keep it fair only one vote per family- so no extras votes for each of your kids, cats or dogs if the photo is yours (or not). By all means, send it to aunts, cousins and friends and have them vote for your picture.

4. The winning photo gets a complimentary 11 x 14″ print.

5. For multiple votes on the winning pictures I will be in touch with you. If you are local, you will be eligible for a 15 minute photo session with me (products are NOT included and you need to be able to travel to me). All you have to do is tell me why I should pick you and the best story will win- I will pick one winner. If you aren’t local or don’t want a session, the winner get a complimentary $25 Target card. Please be sure to include your email address with your vote to get in touch with you.

This little cutie pie’s mama has yet to look at the proofs so this should be a nice surprise to have a 11 x 14″ print to order! Congrats to the T family and Miss M for winning the blog contest.

It was an amazingly close contest with the difference of one vote. Coming in a close 2nd was no.10 Freedom. Since it was so close I am going to give the 2nd place winner a 5 x 7″ print from their recent session. Please contact me to claim your prizes.

All you blog readers….this is your chance to participate. I have picked just a few of my random favorite photos (sorry, I have so many favorites to pick from so please don’t feel bad if I didn’t pick your favorite).

How does this work?
If you’d like to participate, please send me an email with your vote for the picture you like best. Unlike traditional contests you can vote even if you are a client with a photo in the contest. But your family gets ONE vote… so you, your partner, pets, kids all get one vote. Go ahead and send the link to your friends/family by clicking the handy little link at the bottom of the post and ask them to vote. Your aunt, grandmother, uncle, colleague…anyone can send in their vote.

But what’s in it for you?
A cool prize. The photo with the most votes would be awarded a 11 x 14″ print. On Dec 18th, a random name will be drawn from those that have voted and you will get a $25 Starbucks gift card. Be sure to include your mailing address with your vote.

The contest ends Dec 17th (random day…but it is my parent’s anniversary!)
