Alpana has had a love for photography as long she can remember. It began with black and white pictures and a box camera as a child, and then later she lived and breathed photography and design in college. How deep is her addiction?
In college, she went hiking in the Himalayas solely because of her love for photography. Hiking. Freezing. For twenty days. (That’s 19 nights.) Numb. Not from the ice-cold temperatures in the mountain range referred to as “the abode of snow,” but from the chance of a lifetime—the opportunity to stand on the rooftop of the world and capture it forever.
Last year, Storyboxart was born as an extension to her love for creating and her formal artistic training. Storyboxart is a celebration of images that tell a story. Natural expressions of life—a laugh, a cry, a furrowed brow, a tantrum. Each picture is a work of art—whether raw or amidst a unique juxtaposition of bold graphical compositions.
