A nerf gun playdate. And an opportunity for me to play and experiment with my camera. One of these sessions that I might not do for a client but can push the envelope for personal projects.  So here we go… with guns and all. At one point, when my son was younger, I swore he would never play with toy guns. Never say never. He was one of the only kids in our circle of friends without a Nerf Gun. Say what? I finally caved and told him he needed to buy it with his own money. And he did. His first gun was purchased with his saved up pocket money or as they call allowance here. He used to get $7 a month when he was seven years old. It took about three months of saving to finally get the gun from Target on sale. I might have paid the tax. Besides getting the toy he wanted it helped him realize how quickly money can disappear on toys. Since that time, he has acquired a couple more and I have grown to accept that they let him have fun in a pretend world of bad guys.

On a related note, this session was also featured Let the Kids, a super cool blog if you want to check it out.
